Hello

We are Lyndy and Hamilton Russell, a husband and wife team who love animals and our community. We have a puggle and a golden retriever and have always had dogs and sometimes cats in our lives.
 

Our approach is simple, treat your animals the way we would like our own animals to be treated. We listen, we do what we say we will do and we are responsible, compassionate individuals who understand the stresses that both animals and pet parents face while separated.

We want the pet parents we work with to enjoy their vacations, work trips or other away from home experiences - without a worry. Our goal is to give your animals the love and attention they need while you're away. You can also rest easy, knowing that Hudson Bend Pet Sitting is licensed in the state of Texas also insured by PCI (pet care insurance).

Our Why

We have had so many experiences that have led to this moment. We could tell you stories about the various expenses that we paid when boarding our dogs (at one time, we had 3), and it adds up quickly because in most cases you pay per dog, regardless if they're sharing a space. Likewise, we have many stories about various pet sitters who we've used throughout the years, some good, some bad.

It was only when we truly understood all the issues we personally faced, that we determined what we would like to offer others - a peace of mind. Our why is centered around the level of service we give. We believe that taking care of another person's pet is serious business, and we treat it as such.

For many years, we had friends and family ask us to watch their animals, from dogs and cats, to chickens and fish... it's been something we have been doing naturally. In July, 2021 Lyndy decided to "take a break" from working in eCommerce and essentially spent a year discovering her new path. Hamilton has always had a natural ability to connect with animals and is truly the male version of Snow White, although he would prefer if we referred to him as the "Pack Leader". Honestly, I can't tell you how many times Hamilton has had animals just come up to him, it's truly amazing, he's gentle yet firm and has the energy that speaks their language.  So after some time contemplating "what's next" this is where we landed.
